First the Thanks One of the best things that the blog and site in general has enabled me to do is to host other people's work to create a pretty unique resource dedicated to civil aviation and the models too. I'd like to thank the guys who've provided their excellent services to help Yesterday's Airlines grow. People like:
I'm glad to say there are hopefully more collaborations in line for the near future. The site has also helped me to gain the courage and credibility to get published so its thanks to Airliner World for using some of my content in their magazine like the Mexican Aviation history piece. The Content In terms of the blog I've been trying to provide a broad spectrum of posts on a wide range of aircraft types. Above is a breakdown of what I've got through so far. As you can see its a fairly even spread with the 707 and 747 featuring most followed by the DC-8, DC-10, 727, Viscount, One-Eleven, 737 Classic and A300. That's not too surprising given that most of my collection is of classic airliners. Here are some of the fleets that have featured in the blog and mould reviews so far:
Anyway I hope you've enjoyed the journey so far. As you may have noticed I have just added a donation button to the site. Though the cost is mainly in terms of my time hosting the site costs $100 a year so it isn't free. If you enjoy the site and would like to contribute to its survival please donate whatever you can spare. I hope to be here in a year's time with a further update if people still enjoy the material. As always comments, be they praise, criticism, mistakes or general chitchat are welcome. Thanks for visiting.
