Other Chinese Airlines

Outside of the big four airline groupings (Air China, China Eastern, China Southern and Hainan Airlines) there are several other airlines making up about 11% of Chinese traffic in late 2013. Xiamen Airlines is nowadays actually owned by China Southern and Shenzhen Airlines part of Air China however the other 5 airlines are independent. Sichuan is the largest of the rest (at about 6% of marketshare). Spring Airlines represents China's first real Low Cost airline and has begun to make serious inroads into the traffic of the majors.
