Boeing 737 MAX-8 / MAX-9 1:200 Scale New Mould Samples

Given the sudden appearance of both 737NGs in 200 scale and 737 MAXs in 400 scale from NG Models it is no big surprise that the MAX also gets its chance in the bigger scale too. As with the 200 scale 737NG moulds these were both sent to me for display at the Amsterdam Aviation Fair in September and like the NGs come without printing and gear up elements.
The 400 scale NG Models 737 MAX is excellent so it isn't a great surprise that these look good too, however it is interesting that the one issue with the original 400 scale MAX samples was the nosegear length and this has been replicated here with these samples. Perhaps they were just rushed to get them ready for the show so used the NG nosegear for them?
As with the 737NG samples I leave this review primarily to the photos to do the talking.

An obvious issue with the samples undercarriage here is that it appears to be the same as that of the 737NG mould. As you can see above it is practically impossible to tell the difference between the two. On the left is the MAX and on the right is the NG. The MAX gear definitely needs to be longer.
