Pan Am has always been an important constituent of my model collection since it for so long represented the chosen instrument of US international services and has such an important place in aviation history.
Partly due to this popularity Pan Am models are often hard to find but I have been lucky enough to be able to acquire several older releases from Gospodin and Waffle collection sales, whilst in recent years Aeroclassics have produced a nice range of A310s, 707s, C-46 and DC-8s. The model fleet now stands at 41 models for Juan Trippe's airline. |
