MY INDONESIAN FLEET (1:400 SCALE)
Updated: April 2023
Indonesia has been a market of interest to me for sometime now and I have made it one of the few areas of my collection where I continue collecting up to the present day. I even wrote about Indonesian aviation in Airliner World in August 2015 but since then the growth has been even more impressive. Indonesia continues to have a vibrant deregulated market and has been well covered in 400 scale recently.
Partly this is because of the active Indonesian stores, Harry's Diecast (MP4) and Airshop Diecast, who have both made a nice selection of Indonesian exclusives using Panda Models mould. Garuda, Citilink and Lion Air are well covered by the major brands too. I'm quite happy with my fleet and to be honest it is the smaller airlines I'm more interested in rather than Garuda. Up until April 2023 I now have 48 Indonesian models.
Right: Govt Airlines
The collection is in a pair of Kallax units. On the right Garuda Indonesia is represented along with their subsidiary Citilink and the old government carrier Merpati Nusantara. I'm definitely missing quite a bit of Merpati I'd like to collect.
I should point out that I do also own four older historic Garuda aircraft that are located in the SE Asia cabinet shelf.

Left: Private Airlines
On the left the Kallax unit has private airlines with an entire shelf dedicated to Lion Air and it's subsidiaries: Batik Air and Wings Air.
