AURORA Models

YEARS: 2003-2006

# OF MODELS MADE: 17

This was the name chosen by Don Kaylor, the owner of the webstore JetstreamsUSA, for a series of 17 models made between 2003 and 2006. The vast majority of the models are classic Delta and United Airlines. The only ones that are not are AM006 (an Austrian DC-9-51) and AM014 (the Playboy DC-9). 

The first model, and only one from 2003, is a Delta DC-10 that uses the Gemini Jets mould. All the remaining models use Aeroclassics moulds aside from the Austrian DC-9, which uses the SMA mould. ​

The majority of these models use excellent Aeroclassics moulds and as such are still highly sought after today. The only exceptions are the DC-6s, which use Aeroclassics second DC-6 mould, much inferior to their later offering.

​The models were produced in the 300-400 production range, came in white Aeroclassics style boxes with an AURORA sticker and are not easy to come by.
