Herpa Magic 1:600 Scale Mould Photos |
|
I still own 13 of the Herpa Magic releases covering 10 of the 15 moulds they made. Find below close-up photos of those moulds. Moulds I don't own are:
- Airbus A320
- Airbus A340-300
- Airbus A340-600
- Airbus A380-800
- Boeing 727-200 (unreleased)
AIRBUS A319
Only a single A319 was ever produced in the attractive scheme of German Wings. This was one of the very first releases.
Boeing 737-200
Likewise another early release was the only 737-200 made, in the colours of Ryanair.
McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30
This has to be one of my favourite of the Herpa moulds. Unfortunately it was only used twice.
Boeing 747SP
The SP was another excellent classic mould used only twice.
Boeing 747-400
The Herpa 747-400 bears a close resemblance to the later Type V Schuco Schabak 747-400. Both are excellent and this mould was used the most of any by Herpa - 6 times.
Boeing 767-200/300
The Herpa 767s had more realistic shorter undercarriage legs compared to their Schabak counterparts. A pair of series 200s were made but the series 300 was used 4 times.
Airbus A330-200
The Herpa A330 had unusually long undercarriage for a Herpa mould. It was used only twice.
Airbus A340-500
Compared to the A330 the A340-500 mould had very short landing gear. It could of probably done with being a bit taller.
