Within this area I want to explore the development of nation's airliner markets over time with a focus on entry to and exit from the scene, livery changes and airline fleet growth. Airline deregulation is of particular interest to me since it generally has created huge upheaval and an impressive variety of, often short-lived, airlines. I plan on taking a look at well established markets like the USA and UK as well as emerging ones like China and India.
