Below is my view on the best 400 scale moulds for a selection of Boeing types based on buying a lot of 400 scale models and looking at them in detail across many years. You may not agree but if you don't you should at least mount a sensible argument about why you don't!
NOTE: Just because a mould isn't the best it doesn't mean it isn't good and that you shouldn't buy it. I buy a wide range of good moulds for many of these types myself. In the end your collecting is up to you. Use the resources linked to below to get a better understanding of what is available.
There are lots of 777 moulds out there and none of the four active ones are at all bad. In detail for me it was the current JC Wings / Gemini version (not the old seamed mould) that topped the list, but recent changes to the NG mould have enhanced it and it probably just about sneaks into the lead now. The Aviation400 777-300ER is also very nice and even the old Phoenix mould is still competitive.

Presently there is only a single 777-9X mould available in 400 scale and it is available in two versions (wingtips folded and wingtips down). The mould, like their 777-200/300 is lovely although windowline print height has been an issue. There is another 777-9X mould under development, by Aviation400, but it has not broken the surface yet.

The 787 is a core type in 400 scale nowadays and so almost all major brands have one and pleasingly 3 of the 4 moulds are new and of a high standard. In fact, you could argue that of those 3 any could be considered the best, however for me the NG Models and JC Wings / Gemini Jets efforts just pip the Aviation400. Only the very old Phoenix mould trails behind. It has been updated a bit but is still some way behind the others.
