MY INDIAN SUBCONTINENT FLEET (1:400 SCALE)
Updated: April 2023
My collection criteria for this rough geographic area of the world covers the time period from 1945-2000 and so largely avoids the massive changes brought by deregulation in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and the huge growth these markets have seen in recent years. Instead it harks back to a simpler time when each region had its flag carrier (or carriers for India) and both Air India and PIA were considered premium airlines.
Top Shelf
The top shelf features Air India, Indian Airlines and Royal Nepal Airlines. Sadly Bhutan is not represented in 400 scale with a Druk Air BAE-146.
Bottom Shelf
The bottom shelf features Air Ceylon, Air Lanka, Ariana Afghan Airlines, Bangladesh Biman and Pakistan International Airlines.
