US Local Service Airlines In My 1:400 Scale Model Aircraft Collection

The Trunk airlines have always filled the majority of the combined US fleet but the Local Service airlines which sprung up postwar grew to become large Regional airlines competing with the big boys. Since deregulation their growth was explosive but only Allegheny survived, as US Airways, into the 2000s.
