This was a name used by James (Ed) Odum of the webstore Collectable Jets (the store still exists but ownership has changed) for a small series of exclusive models using Gemini Jets moulds. The most commonly found models are the four Californian Boeing 737-200s:
In addition to these there was also an Eastern L-1011 Tristar with the Bicentennial logo and a small series of fantasy Eastern and Braniff/British Airways Concordes, which included Chrome and Gold plated versions. Production ceased in 2004 following Mr Odum's death in a tragic scooter accident.
As related by his friend CrownVic:
"As stated, Ed Odum was the founder of Black Box Models. However his full time job was being a captain for Southwest. He lived not to far from me here in Orlando. One night he was operating a razor scooter in front of his home with his kids and as a car approached he moved over to make room but he sideswiped a parked vehicle, he fell and hit his head. He got up and continued on. One hour later while standing in his kitchen he dropped dead. This was in 2004. I attended his funeral and it was a strange sight seeing dozens of SW pilots and flight attendants in uniform at a church. He was well liked and left behind a wife and 2 young children."
