United States Trunk Airline Livery Changes 1959-1980

With the introduction of jets the major US Trunk airlines went into marketing overdrive and began to regularly update their liveries. Sometimes this involved a complete change in scheme but often the update was relatively small. Below is an attempt to capture these changes for the major trunk airlines (plus Pan Am and Alaska Airlines) from the dawn of the jet age to the dawn of deregulation.
