MY EASTERN AIR LINES FLEET (1:400 SCALE)
Updated: April 2022
Eastern is one of my favourite airlines and has been well represented in 1:400 scale, mainly due to the attention of Aeroclassics.
Almost the entire gamut of Eastern liveries are represented in the collection, from a 1940s Great Silver fleet DC-3 to the last scheme applied to the 757s in the early 90s.

THE FLEET IN 2022
For many years the Eastern fleet was found in a cube of the open MDF cabinet but nowadays it has an entire shelf in the full width glass cabinet. A few later aircraft that don’t fit here can be found in the 80/90s cabinet.
Of the 47 EAL models I own 38 of them are from Aeroclassics. There are four Gemini Jets models. This represents a decrease from the past since the old Gemini DC-8 was replaced by the new Aeroclassics versions and the old Gemini 757 was replaced by both Aeroclassics and NG Models versions. The only models not from these three manufacturers are a single excellent BigBird 747 and a single Dragon L-1011. The most recent additions have been the white hockeystick NG Models L-1011 and the silver hockeystick Aeroclassics 727-200.
