The 20 'Most Deserving' A340s

There have been a significant number of A340s made in 400 scale to date (267 series 300s and 45 series 200s) but that doesn't necessarily mean the type has great coverage. Although there are plenty of decent existing A340 moulds they don't get used a lot and there is still a good range of A340s that have either never been made or haven't been made on a good mould. Hopefully NG will produce some of this pool of options and here's a wishlist to point them in the right direction.

Rather than whip out an enormous wishlist of A340s this list is a lot more focused. There have been a lot of good A340s made by the likes of Aviation400, JC Wings, Aeroclassics, Panda and Phoenix. At the same time 66 (so over 1/5th) of releases have been on the obsolete Dragon Wings A340 (not their best mould) and 21 used the old seamed Gemini Jets mould. Herpa / Hogan have made another 12, which means that 99 of the 267 A340-300s made are on poor castings.

The same goes for the A340-200. There have been 45 models but 14 are from Dragon. So in the name of diversity I have come up with this wishlist so hopefully we don't just get more Air China (15 models made), Lufthansa (18 models made) and Virgin (12 models made).

Here I have picked out 14 A340-300s and 6 A340-200s that have either never been made in the scale or deserve to be remade because they have been produced to date exclusively on poor moulds.
