The Chinese market often gets releases well before those of us in the West and looking around Chinese sellers can often turn up new information and releases that you might otherwise miss out on. Checking around the past few days has turned up just such releases and announcements from Panda Models, Dream Air and NG Models.
Is it a coincidence that after years of ignoring the type only a few months after NG Models debuted their killer 757 mould JC Wings updated Gemini’s old, but still decent mould, with new gears? I think not. An even greater sign of JC Wings battle readiness is that unlike the majority of their releases they have rapidly delivered two new 757s only a few months after they were announced.
In the past few years there has been a proliferation of new brands in 1:400 scale although almost all of them have had a focus on the Asian market over traditional Western markets. One of the newer brands to emerge aiming their product at a niche market is Dream Air, who have so far partnered with JC Wings to produce a range of airliners aimed squarely at Taiwan.
