Easy Does It Obviously the most high profile of recent releases are the quartet of Easyjet A319s. Like with the A320s these have apparently been made in very low numbers but they are currently available, as still are in fact all of the A320s, on taobao. They look decent, although talk of a new mould appears erroneous. There isn't really any reason to use a new mould as the existing A319 was fine. Easy Tiger! A rather random release from May is a very nice looking Tiger Airways A320 9V-TAM: Garuda's Pt1 The excellent Panda MAX hasn't been getting the extensive use you might expect recently but there has been a Garuda example put out at some time in the past few months. It looks great but is seemingly very hard to find. There have also been a pair of Garuda special scheme A330s released - one of which may have an appeal to at least half of a certain city on the side of the River Mersey. This is PK-GPD which has the Liverpool Crest and 'You'll Never Walk Alone' titles on it. The second A330 has Miss World Indonesia 2013 titles. This one seems easier to find if you want it than the Liverpool version: AHK A330P2F Conversion Probably the most interesting release for me is that of the first A330 passenger to freighter (P2F) conversion in the 'colours' of DHL. It is disappointing that this livery looks so unfinished. The aircraft is Irish registered, operated by ASL Airlines for Air Hong Kong contracting to DHL. Either way the model looks good even if the livery is bland. Future Announcements Airshop Diecast seem to announce some Panda releases well in advance and it could be that they are to be exclusives. Anyway we have a variety of Garuda / Citilink 737-300s and a pair of Tiger Mandala A320s.

Its beyond me but they appear to be getting away with it. I know of one stockist in the UK. The models are apparently on there way to them so we'll see if they get past customs

I received all 4 of the easyJet A319’s from a Taobao seller within 8 days of ordering. To me, the mould looks identical to my Green Box (AeroClassics?) G-EZEJ from a few years ago, apart from the addition of aerials. Colours are spot on and there’s a lot of detail. The main issue is the terrible orange to white fade on the UNICEF and Shakespeare versions. Also, Will’s head is too high up at the rear, compared to the real version. A very low key release and, as yet, none available on eBay at ridiculous prices!
