NG Models / HYJLwings 757 Updates

So far to the best of my knowledge there have been 29 757-200s released or announced using the new NG Models mould under three brands. Firstly NG Models themselves but also in addition Jelly Huang's HYJLwings and the Taiwanese brand Dream Air. In this post I'll take a look at the releases from HYJLwings recently which are all now out in the marketplace.

HYJLwings has a very close relationship to NG models and has been quick to take advantage of the excellent NG Models mould for the 757. Unsurprisingly all the 757s have been for Chinese subjects so far aside from a pair of Singapore Airlines five sevens.

Xiamen Airlines

Xiamen Airlines has had 757s in 1:400 scale but they were both on the awful converted Phoenix mould with the dreadful landing gear. This new pair look excellent and will both be joining my collection.

Freighter Conversions

China is nowadays the home of a diverse small package 757 freighter fleet with numerous operators. I hadn't even heard of China Air Cargo Airlines until I saw the model's announced! Half of HYJLwings announcements are 757P2F conversions.

The 4th China Southern 757

Whilst we can barely get a British Airways 757 we now have 4 China Southern examples! Joining the original Gemini Jets release, last years JC Wings version and the recent NG Models one we now have an HYJLwings one too. So that's the 2nd on the NG Mould. I can tell you're excited!

Singapore Sling

Last but not least for most collectors I'm sure is a pair of Singapore Airlines 757s. I have the old Dragon version and I'm keen to replace it with one of these two.
