Thanks to Minh Quân Nguyễn once again for alerting me to this This is the 2nd time in only a few months that the NG Models (formerly Panda) ARJ mould has been used by someone else - the first time being Sebastian Model: Unlike that model this one reproduces a livery/aircraft combination that has been made at least three times before - that of launch customer Chengdu Airlines. Is there really such demand for ARJs in China? The model itself, numbered DDW0001 (although I doubt we'll ever see DDW0002), looks decent enough and is of B-3387, which at least is a rego not made before. There isn't a lot more to say really, although note the typo on the box. The model is available from a couple of stores on taobao and I doubt it will sell to many, if any, outside of China. Nonetheless, I like to keep an eye on the different brands being spawned out of China and perhaps NG should get better security to protect their moulds from being used?

This one is to commemorate Chengdu ARJ-21's first commercial flight to Heihe happened in 2018, a remote Northeast Chinese city. I think this is another example that NG offers tailored model service to smaller/new brands.
