Malaysia's MyHobbyHouse Exclusives

In recent times Asia has been a hotbed of exclusive releases for retailers and one of the most prolific has been the well known Malaysian store MyHobbyHouse, which continues to produce an interesting range of models from JC Wings, Panda and Phoenix for the Malaysian market. In this post I'll take a look at the latest and what they have coming up.

Latest MyHobbyHouse Releases

In recent times MyHobbyHouse have been partnering with Panda Models for a selection of exclusive 737s. The first model made for them late last year was one of Panda's first 737-400s in the colours of the cargo airline Asia Cargo Express:

The most recent new models have continued the freighter theme and were released just recently. They are a pair of MASKargo 737-300Fs operated during the 1990s:

The next release, using Panda's new 737-800 mould will be a Firefly 737-800 9M-MXU. This is scheduled for release in July:

Previous MyHobbyHouse Releases

These 737s are not the only models MyHobbyHouse have had made and in 2015 both JC Wings and Phoenix were used for exclusives too. The models made by JC Wings are branded as MachBirdZ.

Phoenix produced a pair of Malaysia Airlines for MyHobbyHouse also in 2015:

MyHobbyHouse are just one of a variety of Asian and North American retailers getting exclusive models made for them and increasingly it seems like a standard way for several brands to release models.
