HYJLwings has made its own Canadair CRJ-200 in 1/200 scale, however for 1/400 it has so far leveraged the moulds of Panda Models (A319, A320, A330) and JC Wings (A380). It is therefore likely that the newly announced A321s are using a new mould from Panda also, rather than HYJLwings own mould creation. The new announcements cover a pair of A321neos in Airbus Industrie colours and an A321ceo in the old colours of Dragonair. These are solid first releases. The prototype neos are registered D-AVXA and D-AVXB with the Dragonair ceo as B-HTE. From the early mould photos it can be seen that both IAE and CFM powered A321 variants exist. The mould looks pretty decent and not just a copy of the Aeroclassics mould. For one thing the nosegear looks different and the new mould doesn't have the nosedown attitude that some Aeroclassics releases have. The engine fanblades look pretty awesome too: I assume that aerials will be fitted to finished versions. It'll be interesting to see what the finished article looks like here, but the news so far is very promising.
The models are available to pre-order at HYJLwings official taobao shop.
