In June 2009 China Southern were announced as the latest sponsor of the 2010 Asian Games being held in Guangzhou. I discussed this livery in detail at the blog:
Oddly for an event related livery the aircraft wasn't repainted until the second half of 2017.

Skyteam |
2009-2019 |
|
China Southern was the first Chinese airline to join one of the global airline alliances when it signed the agreement to join in November 2007. It's first aircraft in alliance colours was the 777-200 B-2056 and over the next few years it painted three further fleet members before going all out in 2015 with 9 alliance colour fleet additions. China Southern decided to leave Skyteam towards the end of 2018 and formerly left the alliance on January 1, 2019. Several of the alliance painted aircraft continued in service into the second half of 2019 before being repainted.

China Southern decided to adorn its entire 787 fleet with a special livery designed by John Hull at Teague. Based upon an Egret the scheme includes a pair of blue and white wings along each side of the fuselage rolling up into the traditional CZ tail. The livery is worn by all 26 Boeing 787-8/9s in the CZ fleet.
I have written in more detail about CZ's 787-8s here:
